When are they going to send in federal troops to enforce the laws of the nation which this sheriff has been laughing at for decades? Oh, wait. It's an election year, so the administration has to wait until after November to take any action that Fox News can turn into votes for the right wing extremists.
Just listen to the lines that the Governor and Sheriff are drawing in the sand. It would be better to cut Arizona and Alaska loose. Throw them out of the Union until they can behave like civilized people.
A Police arrest may or may not be justified. If the Public is to have confidence in the Police authority to arrest, the Public has a responsibility to observe and record this event. When the Public fails in their responsibility to hold Police accountable in their use of force, we have slipped down the slippery slope from Surveillance State to Police State.
