Hiring staff for a George W. Bush presidency when he has Not YET Been Selected ( 2000 election ) and she expects us to believe that she is Non-Partisan ? What a joke ! She should at least keep silent rather than tell an out-and-out Lie. ( How did she know that Bush was going to be Selected ?)

I really could care less whether she is a Member of the so-called tea drinkers group or if it is a hard liquor group. That is fine with me. But at least she could at least try to be Honest. Separate professional lives, My Foot. After 23 years of being married to Clarence Thomas, how could that be possible ? Not even if she were married to Donald Duck !

CityRat @ 3/16/10 11:31 does not speak for this L.A. "gurl," or L.A. in general, this is happily one of the bluest areas in the country. There should be a different standard for U.S. Supreme Court Justices and whom they choose to affiliate with. How can her husband adjudicate impartially when obviously his wife is affiliated with organizations that are encouraging people of seditious acts and treason. That's right I forgot, when they swear to uphold the Constitution when they get sworn in they only have to uphold the sections they like, like the 2nd amendment. Her husband should be impeached for many reasons especially his impartiality.

I hope the conservative judge will do us a favor to recuse himself whenever such matters involving his wife's organization, or any other like it gets to the supreme court.

And SO many politicians are married to journalists or lobbyists
and just about EVERY journalist is married to someone in office
Imagine that... a Supreme Court Justice, who swears on the Bible to uphold the constitution is married to a woman who actively supports bringing the constitution back to America and more specifcially convincing schools to actually TEACH it !!!

Who cares what organization Clarence's spouse heads up! He's so incredibly and absolutely predictably far right, so intellectually lacking, so in lock-step with the worst forces of reaction, I can't imagine Ginni's little tea bag group really having any influence on him anyway.

Thomas votes consistently with the most reactionary elements of the Court and hasn't made a comment or asked a question during amy hearings held by the Court for so many years that he's a non-entity except for his predictable vote.
What a disgrace to have him "serving" on our Supreme Court.
