Intro: "The regulator overseeing Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear complex on Saturday announced a sharp elevation in radioactive contamination had been detected in nearby seawater, furthering signs of distress at a plant where officials had cautioned of radioactive leaks near hobbled reactors the day before."

Um, Excuse me, but seriously, I need some explanation as to what's wrong with the following;
"Pumping sea water onto nuclear plants that have their cooling systems compromised."
At no stage, have we been told what's happened to that same sea water, after it's cooled down the reactor.
What, did it simply evaporate into the atmosphere taking radioactive particles with it ?
Or did it run back into the ocean from whence it came from in the first place, again, taking radioactive particles with it ?
AND, if it did the latter, wouldn't that then contaminate the ocean alongside the reactors and further, after being dragged along in under water currents ?
I mean I'm no expert on such matters, but it seems awfully obvious to me that this would happen, so how come it hasn't occurred to the alleged "experts" ?

I'm no expert at it either but I do know what a fuel rod is and I made em once upon a time for a company in Kansas and sent to Oregon.. You won't hear the worst scenario, cause there's dumb smart people out there that think, this stuff is ok. Ok in deep space maybe, but not here.. The water evaporated leaving salt build up and the steam just rose up and away with the winds.. You wanna get worried.. Look into the Ocean Currents and Wind Currents of the planet. Wkiki or Google. From The Gulf of Mexico to Europe, ocean current and BP oil.. From the coast of Japan to Hawaii and over California and onto the wheat fields of the mid- west, the air currents will take all that radioactive stuff and dump it, First fog, rain, snow, ice storm and it all come down with what used to feed the plants and animal...My Uncle J.D. Pierson used to turn on the plant in Diablo Canyon California. He died at an fairly early age for our family.. He said, nukes ARE NOT SAFE. But maybe that was just his personal opinion or he just didn't know about such things being a nuclear engineer and all.... Don't eat Alaska fish or crab, fish, etc. from Gulf of Mexico's or stock up now on fish.. Even the Japanese won't be able to hunt whales after this. Cpl. Pierson,101st Airborne, Vietnam. draftee.. go glow now! were all glow worms

Perhaps this is payback to the Western States who want to cut spending to American workers, Education, Seniors. We will have to look at born on date, oops, there will no longer be a born on date...So west coast...eat your own food.
they will not tell us. I am wondering about Organic
Wineries, macD's, Burger King, Wendy's and the like all destroy our Public lands to raise their cattle.
Fought nukes for 45 years as Einstein said that the Nuclear Energy should not be manufactured for more than Medicine as there was not safe way to store it. OOOps, guess no one read that Memorandum.
He died wishing he never discovered the split, but someone would have and perhaps not been honest at all!

Anyone with any common sense knows not to use sea water on metal parts...it corrodes them. Tsunami did enough of that?
Why is the Nuke People waiting until Saturday March 23 to send in fresh water? Or China or any of the Countries to the West?
We were made aware within three days that the one reactor could not hold water in...earthquake cracked concrete, moved island 8 ft toward USA so we knew of leak and not another Nuclear Regulatory was there to keep spill from spreading because there is no where to go with the waste...not here, not in Africa, not in Europe..Nowhere is there a place to go so the water did leak and it is wherever the tide took it...west/east/north and south. FDA should be banning all fish and Alaska watch out al the way to south America. How much is too much for our Oceans? Our sea Life...Birds who live off of these fish. Guess we will find out.
Where is GE, the geniuses of Nukes?

B) Clean

C) Green

D) Inexpensive

E) None of the above

I think the engineers of this plant, that made the brilliant decision that the emergency power generators needed no protection from tsunamis, should be made to go into the plant with the workers every day. Time for these elitist smarties that woundn't give those ground workers the time of day to pay for their arrogance! Their brilliance(?) should be rewarded rather than MIT professorships!

All Nuclear Engineers should have been there from the beginning. GE should have been there. That Fresh water should have been there for the people and the Nukes.
Almost two weeks and we are now bringing fresh water? Where is the Help from the West of Japan?

I understand the need not to cause a Mass Panic, however, it is time to start telling the truth, get the island evacuated. Every Nuclear commission better get their butts to this and start helping Japan now. all reactors should be shut down. If people were evacuated down to needed Personnel, do you realize how much electricity they would no longer need to generate. Duh!

this is one time I was shocked to see the Japanese drinking the water? I have yet to see an USA Sewage treatment plant engineer or owner do it, but they will swear at the meeting it is safe to drink.

We will need all the people in research on cancer to start now in treating and getting work done. The lies about the intensity goes thru the Liver and that is how cancer is spread..Liver, blood, bone marrow. God Forgive us for allowing these ever to be built.

Close them all. Since Big Business and the government pay less and use more..guess who is going to roll up those sleeves and do without.
