In the first major move to revive his health care agenda after his party's loss of a filibuster-proof Senate majority, Obama on Sunday invited GOP and Democratic leaders to discuss possible compromises in a televised gathering later this month.

If you want to be certain good health care reform does not happen, you should try to do it via bipartisan consensus. Obama is so fixated on the failed bipartisan strategy, I'm beginning to wonder if he's bi.

Here is the Republican Health Care plan:
1. Malpractice tort reform: no suit over 1 dollar. Ya die, ya lose your eyesight, wrong organ gets removed? One dollar settles it. Next?
2. The medical savings account: Oh yeah, throw that 100K down the hole on ONE surgery. After that, good luck.
3. Lower taxes on the insurance execs so they will pass the savings onto us. Yeah... right...
4. Republican lawmakers retain THEIR publicly funded health care coverage!! Hey! Ya think we're stupid?

No. Stupid is the American voter.
