President Barack Obama took his pitch for health care legislation on the road Monday, urging voters in suburban Philadelphia to make their voices heard above the political echo chamber in Washington and demand an up-or-down vote now in Congress.

We need health care reform and this is a start. Not perfect but enough to change and improve. If we don't take this opportunity we will simply reach a point like the financial crisis and have a bigger mess. After a year of haggling this is the moment to act!!!

Why would the average citizen support this legislation when it has virtually nothing in it that is in the interest of that citizen. This is a pro-corporate piece of work, another transfer of billions of our dollars to a corporate entity. And what do we get in exchange?

If we cannot have single payer, then perhaps it is time to do health care state by state. At least a non-profit insurer would be better than this mess, and the states can institute that on their own.

Obama is turning to voters?

READ MY LIPS, MR. PRESIDENT, it was the voters who elected YOU in the first place. It seems to me YOU are trying to defend YOUR incompetence in dealing with YOUR own Democratic Party and the opposition (the GOP) which are doing everything to destroy YOUR presidency and the nation as a whole.

So cut the crap out, Mr. President, get some courage, fire some of your advisers, inform those democrats in Congress whom do not support your policies in the health care, financial reforms, etc.,. with expulsion from key Senate or House chairs and lay all the cards on the table for once! BE UNREASONABLE FOR A CHANGE! Your faith in "partisanship" with Republicans was over before it even started.

Get real honest to goodness advisers like Michael Moore, individuals who have the brains and guts to tell Republicans, the GOP, Conservatives and Christian hypocrites to go where the sun don't shine!

The Nation expects no Less!
