If I enter a business that has Faux News on, I ask them to change the channel. And, I tell them that if I come in again and find Faux on, I'll leave and forever take my business elsewhere.

Why can't Fox News, Beck, Limbaugh and others be shut down? Everyone knows what they're doing. They shouldn't be allowed to use the airwaves to spew their hate and fearmongering!

First, they shocked and Awed America,without warning and then they shock and awed Iraq and Afghanistan with a warning.. Now, they want Social Security and Medicare money to make up for the money LOST during fake wars.. The war is real, the reasons are fake.... But at one time, it was hard to get Americans to just go along with taking over a country, so they do it covertly and if the wrong guy gets in, they get shot and replaced... Bush never did find Osama Bin Laden did he? Then he said he wasn't that important.. If any one remembers the news, that's what he said in one blurp beside flip off America before a State of the Union address.. Lots of us tolerated the GOP yelling and interrupting conversations for provocation and the Meek so to speak didn't fight em back.... And most still aren't.. Fight back, do as they do and kick some Elephants fat ass. Bury the GOP.. Cpl. Pierson 101st Airborne, Vitenam...

I couldn't watch the video, nor could I read any of their lies. Just the thought of Fox News makes me sick to my stomach. I don't need to be convinced that those who work there preach hate and spread fear, I already know that. Hopefully those who slavishly watch Fox News, and allow it to contaminate their lives, will find this out soon.

Can we please work to get a law like Canada's that makes it illegal to lie when reporting news. Lawmakers are right now pushing for requiring "In God We Trust" to be displayed at all government institutions including schools. Maybe they should also push for upholding the ninth commandment about bearing false witness.

Government employees have the tax payer at a terrible disadvantage. If a private sector company charges too much , provides a rotten service, the customer votes with their wallet and goes some where else.

With Government protected monopolies, like the education industry, the tax payers are forced to pay no matter how expensive or how rotten the 'service'.

Monopoly is the enemy of good management, they require government protection and it matters not if it is a labor or corporate monopoly - the consumers loose.

If what you posit is correct, public workers would not be making less than their private-sector counterparts. They make less, so your theory flies in the face of facts and crashes to the ground.

Nice try using erroneous assumptions (a la Fox) in order to rationalize the crushing of working Americans while giving the corporate elite yet more tax breaks.

When you are over 14 trillion dollars in debt and headed for 15.5 trillion and your GDP (total profits/ income etc of everyone and all companies) is only 14 trillion..you are broke. When you have an income of 2.2 trillion (taxes) and are spending 3.6 trillion you are broke, when you have a president that did not complete a budget for 2011, you are in trouble, when you have a president that has added 5.5 trillion dollars to the national debt in 2 years, you are in trouble, when you have a president that wants to keep spending and borrowing over 40 cents of every dollar he spends, you are in trouble, when you have serious war, financial problems/debt, bad economy, serious killings/illegal immigration on your borders, you are in trouble, high unemployment and revolutions going on in several countries that must be addressed and your president decides to talk about gun control, you are in trouble. When you have a president that kills jobs by stopping the drilling for oil when 14 million are unemployed and 8 million are under employed, you are in trouble, and those that are in the most trouble are the poor and middle class..... they will be the ones that go hungry because of high food prices and go cold in the winter and can no longer drive a car because energy prices are so high, but who cares.... I do!

The Republicans — those self-assessed masterful experts of everything - turned our surplus into record deficits, exploded the government (as did Reagan) blew through THREE TRILLION in off-the-books wars (one egregiously illegal), gave Big Pharma a sweetheart deal while screwing the American taxpayer, CRASHED THE ECONOMY like a bunch of teenage drunks joy-riding in Daddy's car, cut taxes during two off-the-books wars and now are slashing spending in the Bush Depression to commit even MORE economic suicide they later will blame on poor kids who have no food to eat.

You're right; we're in trouble, and it's spelled R-E-P-U-B-L-I-C-A-N-S!

RAR: You are spot on target! Trouble is that this is exactly what Repubs intended, in their own eyes they have been successful! They want to bankrupt the USA, a stated goal of some of them, and they will succeed as long as the US public thinks the "defense" budget is somehow a sacred cow, or as long as they can defy public opinion.

One of the many ironies here is that the people broadcasting on fox are all union members. I haven't hear any of them renounce their own union benefits either.

I have to laugh that they want NPR shut down. Afraid of the middle and poor listening to what they want to or what they can afford to.
Guess a stop watching TV, stop buying from Companies that advertise on Fox should happen. Got to hit people/Companies int their pockets it is all they know..it is amazing that broadcasters, as TV are Union. Republicans love Money, Benefits yet they are stupid enough to sit and allow their party to take their livelihoods away. Perhaps when no one has a job, they will pay attention. 2,000 more foreclosures on abc NY tonite...how many are Republicans, where is the Tea Farters? Guess they do not have solidarity among thieves.

Regarding the "sky is falling" crowd(regarding deficits) who take Fox literally (as big a mistake as interpreting the Bible literally):
Where were all of you when Bill Clinton's record surpluses were quickly turned into huge deficits by Bush Inc.? Please give me an answer. I have yet to hear a rational explanation.

Fox News is wrong with their union busting, but they are one of only a few news organizations that actually take the side of white Americans once in a while. If some people, like Democrats, were not so racist against white people, then it would be much easier to vote for them, and they would have much more success in election. I want to have unions in the worst way, but I have to vote for someone, who never ever takes the side of white people on any issue, to get the pro union candidate elected. An election is like asking me which leg I want cut off.
