The Republican National Committee plans to raise money this election cycle through an aggressive campaign capitalizing on "fear" of President Barack Obama and a promise to "save the country from trending toward socialism."

So this is what we can expect from the Republicans this year...more scummy advertising, more fear-mongering - and no ideas or help in solving the problems that the previous administration contributed to/created.
I hope the Democrats can get their political boots on soon; the only thing that the Repubs have on the Dems is hardball, slimy politics.

Rocky, surely you are being sarcastic. I'll assume this unless you care to clarify yourself.

The mentally defective Re-thug-lie-cons are so shameless and so void of solutions or actual care of the disasterous state of the union that of course they would amuse themselves with fear mongering and the kind of stupid events that the Young Eagles would find amusing. I actually believe that they cynically believe that their constituents truly believe the content of their fear mongering and I am sure that the RNC banks on this stupidity despite knowing better themselves. For them it isn't about content or contribution, it's about scarring enough dummies into voting for them. It should shock more people than it seems, that the RNC is so dependent on the stupidity that they breed for votes.
