Virginia helped swing the election for Obama, and elected Democrats Mark Warner and Jim Webb to the Congress. Progressives need to make a compelling case in every state, not cede elections to the right wing.

Why do these business owners hate America? Why does that banker who said "This is what America will look like in 5 yrs" support terrorism?
I say this tongue-in-cheek of course because it is a ludicrous premise, but one we accepted without even a "cough" of derision when GW was in office. Anyone critical of the anything his administration did was a "terrorist" or supported same. He further eroded gov'ts' role as regulator or arbiter (after Bill C.) of the maniacally worshipped free market for a "gov't that will be so small you can strangle it in a bathtub". Anyone not familiar with the Project for a New American Century" should be, as we are watching the gloved hands around our republic's neck.

What "NAFTA", the North Alantic Free Trade Agreement, thought by Reagan, endorsed by both GH Bush, and approved by Bill Clinton and GW Bush, did was to enslave half of Canada, the USA and Mexico. After that it was like a domino effect, everything throughout the world was checked mate with deceptional treaties that effected most of those countries people. That is what happens when voters let corporate bought politician and judges run the government.

The rest is history and it doesn't look very good.

Only China seem to have together and they will experience the same effect later on. But one thing China does is put to death corporate crooks. Not so the USA, it gives these shanenigans bonuses!

The truth might be that American (US) voters are their own worst enemy!
