I say this tongue-in-cheek of course because it is a ludicrous premise, but one we accepted without even a "cough" of derision when GW was in office. Anyone critical of the anything his administration did was a "terrorist" or supported same. He further eroded gov'ts' role as regulator or arbiter (after Bill C.) of the maniacally worshipped free market for a "gov't that will be so small you can strangle it in a bathtub". Anyone not familiar with the Project for a New American Century" should be, as we are watching the gloved hands around our republic's neck.
The rest is history and it doesn't look very good.
Only China seem to have together and they will experience the same effect later on. But one thing China does is put to death corporate crooks. Not so the USA, it gives these shanenigans bonuses!
The truth might be that American (US) voters are their own worst enemy!
