The war in Iraq just isn't going gently into the night, is it? Sunday's parliamentary election took place amid a backdrop of mortar, grenade and bomb attacks in Baghdad and other major cities.

Why should the war in Iraq go away - it's not MEANT to. The US intends to stay there as long as there is oil there, and after that they'll stay there because they've been there so long they've got USED to it, okay? Peter Edler, Stockholm

It will not stop while the munitions makers rule the United States Government along with all the other industries that are cohorts, AND ALL THE SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES play their parts as whores and prostitutes to the Pimps that set the agenda.
Or until Real Americans stand up and do more than go to the voting booth every four years and re-elect the same old same old BORDELLO, that is Washington DC.

Where do you stand?

just asking.

No, it won't for the simple reason that as long as America's (US) military industrial corporates (back by a pro-war congress supported the ever present regilious hypocrisy) make money on it, the destruction of men, women, children, animals and machines (in that order)won't make and difference for a nation that practice (in words only) freedoms, liberty and justice for all.

The USA has hit the bottom of the sewer in regards to humanity.

Corporate profits is what counts, everything else don't matter. Want proof? Just look at the Republican Party!

Indeed, it does seem like the USA has hit the bottom of the sewer in regards to humanity. Our lying concerns about freedom, liberty and justice for all are apparent when in practice we are a world class predator who see's everyone and everything, even it's own people, as something to use up, screw or kill.

Forget about the words of our alleged ideologies. It is deeds not words that reveal us and Iraq's misery is unimaginable and it's future completely beyond comprehension.

It simply boggles the mind that we can take any pride in this nascent democracy when in fact, we are leaving the place so fractured, so balcanized, so utterly destroyed and we will never be able to even begin to afford to pay them for the damages we have caused.

Uncle Sam has made himself the premier target for retaliation by any group of people that actually do happen to believe in freedom, liberty and justice for all. Call them terrorists but call them righteous, honest and oh so correct.
