"Despite acceding to the Pentagon's surge in troop levels, huge budget requests and civilian nation-builders, as well as the deployment of a superstar general, Obama's current approach in Afghanistan is failing."

"America and its allies are mired in a civil war in Afghanistan and are struggling to establish an effective central government in a country that has long been fragmented and decentralized." This is the problem, and why no one has ever defeated Afghanistan. It is NOT a country but a group of tribes. We may (and I stress MAY) defeat one tribe, but there are hundreds of others. We should declare a victory and get out.

Wars have two sides. There was never wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. We invaded and occupied or tried to occupy. Our goals were never agreed on...by our leaders or the public. In each case, resource appropriation seemed to be the real goal. Military forces used to clear a path for global giant enterprises to harvest the minerals and other resources denied by nativists and nationalists.

Those who paid the price will see none of the profits. They will share the long term pain, suffering and sorrow of the occupied. They will most likely recover before we do because our government and leaders will continue to deny reality. Until they do, healing and recovery will not take place.

The pentagon generals and war mongering corporate America will never let that milk cow run dry. War is blood money in their pockets, their pensions and greed is in their blood. They couldn't care less if America wins or loses, they just want the security in the banks! And Congress makes sure that is a continuing thing.

Shucks, I have a 10 year great-grand son that could have told President Obama that.

It goes to show you, the pentagon rules together with five morally corrupted Supreme Court Justices hired by the GWBush Administration at the benefit of the Right wing conservative fools!

Meanwhile, our young men and women will die for nothing more than to make corporate America richer with their sweat, tears and blood!

Americans (USA) should be so proud!
