Love this MM interview. I'd love to see Liz in a position to oversee these crooks.

This lady is the smartest one in the room. When she gets up and goes to another room, she will be the smartest one in that room too.
OK so she does look like the librarian when you were in seventh grade, get over it.
Watch how she speaks, how she never tries to cut off who she is speaking with, how she looks directly into your eyes and delivers her answers in a manner that those of us who didn’t go to Harvard, can still understand. She has a way of breaking it down to where an Okie, like me can understand.
I hope they make her the top of the newly created Credit Control group. We would be well served.

Ms. Warren's grasp of how the country got into this situation and her determination to help the average American make her an essential component in the struggle to fix the problems. In addition, her passion and commitment are an inspiration and should help keep the rest of us from just sitting on the sidelines.

Little Timmy Geithner at the Treasury is both incompetent and is running a criminal enterprize. In the end it is Obama's and the American people's cowardice that allows it all to happen. He was fortunate to have Elizabeth Warren show up and he is too stupid to recognize decency and competence. This scandal will brand him and outlast Tea Pot dome and all the machinations of the Nixon administration. Like Clinton he is totally mesmerized by his own version of Monica Lewinsky. Warren should be appointed post haste and given carte blanch on staff.

Hear, hear to all of the above & isn't it great to hear Michael Moore say capitalism isn't working...that it is undemocratic?
Warren is so good that I'm afraid Obama will run scared from her & take on someone acceptable to one or another of his Svengalis (Summers, Geithner, Bernanke, et al).

Remember Americans this is just the beginning of the "big slide"...wake up, throw the converter out the window, get active with people who like Ms Warren and support her to make a difference.

The credit card fraud she is talking about is exactly what Hillary voted for.

If you believe Elizabeth Warren should be the "watchdog" regulator of Wall Street then do this: Contact (via email) you House of Representatives rep, AND both of your state senators, and tell them to ask President Obama to appoint Elizabeth Warren as the regulator of Wall Street. I've already done that - and I pray the President listens to us all ...

As soon as I close this window I am going to write Obama, Feinstein, Boxer and Pelosi. I hope more people follow Mentor's advice.

We need to elect people like Warren to help make rules that work for everyone. Not just the rich. When I was young places like England and Mexico only educated the rich. Now we are no better. Were losing our gift as the light of the world.

Jack Ferguson, Geithner isn't quite as incompetent as you think. But he is more interested in giving benefits to his confreres than in doing an honest job for the American people whom he is supposed to be serving. In other words, he is a crook, like all too many trusted officials in this country.

Two of my favorite people together. A real treat! What is not mentioned in the interview and she may not want to verbalize is that this problem to diminish the middle class is purposeful and calculated to occur. She may never get the job because the status quo likes it like this. Multi national corporations and bankers don't give a fig about the people or America. We will never change this until WE THE PEOPLE forget about our petty differences and unite to hold all the banksters and corporatist accountable. United we stand, divided we fall, and divided is how they want us.

This is exactly right! Geithner is competent and he wouldn't be where he is now if he wasn't.

He's already fighting against her appt to anything that will alter the status quo, I wonder why?

Sign, sign those petitions that are pushing for Elizabeth to run the CPBA.

Now think of this, Geithner, Summers, Bernanke were instrumental in getting us inc this financial quicksand, so THEY were hired to get us out of it, right?

The idea of a Consumer Protection Board IS Elizabeth's idea? So...who would be the ideal candidate to oversee it's promulgation?

Now, lets' see who controls who...

Hors-D........dang right.
The elites must destroy us to fulfill their agenda-- meaning all the social classes below them-- so that labor will become dirt cheap even without illegal immigrants and the rest will have to beg for a living, for food, for housing from the "best." I believe some of them would love to have a slave economy all over again.
But most of our citizens are too busy having "fun"-- getting plastered or doped, watching TV, having babies, eating like hogs, going to teabagger entertainments, listening to hate radio, caring not for their fellows nor for the state of the country or the disintegrating planet.
The "best" think that they can have it all and more at our expense and that they can buy their way out of global decline, especially if the world population is reduced by epidemic disease, rampant cancer, HIV, etc.
Welcome to the un-world.

The shame is on Obama and his 'team' that did not liquidate the stock in the bailed out banks. Goldman Sachs should now be owned by the tax payers or they should have gone on their way without our money. Shame Obama!
