The best hope for the victims of our nation building is that we run out of money sooner rather than later.

No country ever waged war without the backing of the world's biggest financiers. May they stop funding our insane wars. There has never been a time in my short lifetime when we were not attacking "the bad guys." We create them, as we fostered Saddam Hussein's ambitions when they coincided with our own and ended up with the monster we love to hate.

Stop it already. War is not a value. Dying in grotesque battles brings glory only the old men empty enough to praise the sacrifice of their own sons.
