Former Wisconsin Congressman David Obey: "It is apparent to me that if the Governor does not engage in meaningful compromise, he will be recalled. Because when you go after the jugular, and try to put workers out of business, that is when they will mean business in the way they respond."

Recall Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker?

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.

General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.

Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

Absolutely, he must be recalled. He is certainly out of touch with life and the need for education, systems to make all citizens the right to live a decent life with collective bargaining as a right. "I have been bought and paid for by corporative power" seems to be his personal mantra. He is a product of the Peter Principle.

The Governor is too extreme for Wisconsin or any other state. He is not being honest. He hoped to take advantage of a budget deficit, manufactured in part by his tax cuts for the wealthy, to push his conservative agenda. That is not why he was elected and should be recalled.

Recall now! The arrogance of these corporate puppets is unbelievable and we, the people, need to exert the only power we have - the vote. Vote to recall him and all the Repupblicans who pulled this stunt!

I frankly do not support Govenor Walker. I am ashamed to say that I live part of the year in WI. It seems that the state government here buried it's head in the sand to ignore the economic situation that the nation and state was dealing with and now is trying to play catch up. The state government should have for seen the budget issues that would arise and taken preventive measures to make sure that it did not get into the situation that it now faces. I come from a union family. I believe that working groups in this nation deserve the freedom of collective bargaining just as much as they deserve free speech and the right to bear arms. Yes the union's should be sensible and realize that concessions need to be made. Only with the backing of corporate america could a man with only a limited educational background and little political experience be elected into office. Of course he will listen to those who put him into office and not the people who he is supposed to represent. The voters in this state should have the opportunity to recall a govenor who does not represent them, who wants to take away an American freedom, who does not appear to honestly want to go back to the table and listen to the Democratic party with the intent of reaching a compromised solution to the state of the ecomomy and the rights of the citizens.
